Travel Contigo provides tourism and relocation services in Ecuador and nearby countries of South America. We’re a small company made up of seasoned travelers who are passionate about tourism and the country of Ecuador.
While traveling and living in Ecuador, we saw the tremendous cultural wealth and potential of this county. But when we saw what services were available for foreign travelers and investors, we found much misinformation, overpriced services, and bland offerings. We realized that it didn’t have to be this way. It could be so much better!
We started Travel Contigo with the goal of unlocking Ecuador’s potential. We want Ecuador to give you the experience of a lifetime without the unnecessary complications that other companies create. We keep our overheads low, we live in Ecuador, and we’re seasoned travelers. We will work with you personally to create a tailor-made trip that will be delightful and rewarding.

Why visit Ecuador?
Ecuador is packed with tremendous diversity.
In an area roughly the same size as Colorado, there exists an immense variety of animals, plants, landscapes, and ecosystems. The three distinct regions of the mainland - The Coast, the Andes mountain range, and the Amazon rainforest - can all be visited in one day. And the world-famous Galápagos Islands, about 800 miles of the Pacific coast, are filled with many thousands of species of fish, birds, and land animals that can’t be found anywhere else.
Ecuador is “unspoiled” by modern tourism.
Consider this: There are places in the world that are well-known as “destinations”. Tourism services are well-established, but sadly, they are overcrowded and commercialism has crept in everywhere. Not so with Ecuador! This country is relatively free of exploitation, and offers the freedom to choose your own adventure, with the right guidance of course.
Ecuador has a strong cultural identity.
Ecuador’s indigenous cultures have survived through multiple attempts at conquest and assimilation by the Inca and Spanish conquistadors. Indigenous peoples represent a large percentage of the population. Mind you, this culture isn’t sugar-coated for tourists, like Hawaiian pizza on a cruise ship. This is part of the very fabric of Ecuadorian life. The chance to experience a unique culture untarnished by commercial tourism is a rare treat.
Why choose us?
We’re the right size.
Because we’re a small company, you will always be dealing with the owners, not just an employee. This allows us great efficiency and flexibility when caring for your trip. No matter what, the buck stops with us (no offense to Buck).
We’re seasoned travelers.
Not only are we familiar with Ecuadorian travel, we’re familiar with world travel. Why is this important? When we get to know you, we can understand your background and expectations based on where you’re from and where you’ve been. Between us, we speak English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese. We speak these languages not just from studying, but from our travels around the world.
You may notice that some of our competition have staff of salespeople, support, secretaries and others in addition to the owners (who live in expensive countries) that you pay for when you book with them. We live in Ecuador and we keep our overheads low, only having two main owners and a few locals that we hire from time to time depending on the type of trips we have.
